For the IBM Supply Chain animation we did at MediaMonks Animation, I did a lot of texturing on secondary characters. After using Substance Painter on some personal projects, this was the first "real" project where I got to use it. Worked like a charm! I needed to be efficient with the available time, so the overall texturing look is very much based on easy ways to apply effects based on the shapes of the models.
Although the final animation is rendered in C4D, I used Maya and V-Ray to setup shaders and renders.
